WELCOME to Shepherds Harvest web site...
CHAPLAIN 40-HOUR STUDY COURSE is a simple informational course on the chaplaincy...
The book: "Chaplains: Fighting the Bullets" is an interesting "experience in the trenches" type personal writing.  The book has been written in an understandable format as a "40-Hour Chaplain Study Course", and presented as an introduction to the chaplaincy.  After reading the book you will discover very quickly how important it is to know more about the chaplaincy, and you will want to apply for the study course.  It will enhance your knowledge about chaplains and their ministry.

When you started school, you started in the first grade, and then moved upward.
Well, the same approach can be taken about the learning more about the chaplains.
The Chaplain Study Course is the First Grade learning in the School of the Chaplaincy.

Chaplain: Fighting the Bullets has been written and designed to lead potential chaplains through the duties, and the ups and downs of a military career.  It is a comprehensive guide to the role of the military chaplain.  Included are the origins of the chaplaincy, the role of the chaplain throughout America's history, and the chaplain's military responsibilities at every rank.

With great attention to detail, in-depth research, and a reference to personal experienced challenges as a chaplain, they all add up to a definite interesting perspective drawn from a chaplain's point of view.  "Chaplan: Fighting the Bullets" provides a holistic view of the role of the chaplain throughout history, and that same role has carried over to our present day.
